Let me tell you the little story:
"We arrived on the coast of Ceara in July 2005 with a team of experts in tourism to find the best spot of Windsurfing, still virgin of the "Costa do Sol". Icaraizinho seduced us at once, first of all for its situation between Fortaleza (the capital of the state) and Jericoacoara (the most renowned spot of the coast). The spot turned out to be the most complete that we met. It offers a big variety of spot of waves, flatwater and fresh water in lagoons, what allows making regularly different Wind Trip throughout your stay. In October 2005, we rented a place, to validate the best place and to open the gear storage center the best positioned on a spot of windsurfing".
Situation
Brazilian Crew is now situated on the East point and is ideally placed to receive the best conditions of wind of the bay (side, side-off starboard). The stretch of water is technical, flat on 150m and a wave of reef of 1-1.50 m which unwinds on a flat and rocky paving stone. You go to be able to burst in a water in 28 °, without sea urchin, without shark and without mussel in a perfect and regular wind, all the day, where the navigations 4.7m2 and less are almost daily from August till December!!!
Center
The gear storagecenter will welcome you from July till February from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. System stand with boards, closet for rigged sails, changing rooms, toilets, and private shower are at the disposal of "riders". We allow you to rinse off sand and salt from your gear, that's essential to keep good material. You will feel " at home "! Crew will advise you on the choice of the equipment, on the zones of navigation ideally adapted to your level and will have a look on the water.
The Brazilian Crew is situated in the best place on the spot of Icarai, directly on the beach. You have to walk 20 metres to reach the water by high tide and less than 50 by low tide. Bootees are advised but not compulsory (just on the reef, but no sea urchin nor coral). Navigation in pair of shorts and Lycra long sleeves (solar protection) all year long.
The bar "Wind Rock Café " offers a panoramic sight on the spot, just to quench thirst and to eat during the stop and to look the friends or the professionals in action. It is opened from June to Mars from 10 am till 00:30 am (and more according to the atmospheres). Caïpirinha, Sucos, home specialities and good music will be there to give rhythm to this atmosphere of paradise of the Windsurfing. Do not forget to take advantage of Happy Hour from 6 pm till 7 pm for a well deserved drink after a day of well performed navigation!!! For the hungry people, the Snack proposes sandwiches, pancakes, salads, Carpaccio of fish and Tartars of beef.
The Vila of Brazilian Crew " On ze spot " is an apartment situated above the club. You can take advantage of the best sight of the village (on the reef), in this wooden chalet and straw roof of 52 m2 with kitchen area, warm water shower, big terrace on the sea and natural ventilator (the wind)! This up-market chalet is pleased for 1,2, 3 or 4 persons. Inquire as quickly as possible!!
