From the rising middle-tide to the downward middle-tide: the spot in front of the club allows to do loops, high jump, shaka or other tricks of Freestyle and to have pleasure in surfing in a fast swell.
From the downward middle-tide to the rising middle-tide: we have the possibility of navigating in the lagoon on the left of the club for Freestyle or to perfect its jibes... You can get speed or have a long starboard in the middle of the bay or, on the right of the centre, going out thanks to a passage in the reef.
The big tides generated by the arrival of the black moon and the full moon bring on the spot a bigger swell with beautiful sessions of Waveriding.
Conditions
From February till May
It is the rainy season. The wind of strength 4 is present on average 3 days a week. Not to forget, the carnival takes place in February in all Brazil, a four days experience to be lived!!! The center is closed during this period except the bar and the rent of the Wood Vila (see page accommodation).
From June till July
Advised level: perfection to expert. The wind restarts in power and especially in regularity with 75 % of windy days in more strength 5. Waves are not big but perfect to send frontloop. The conditions are ideal to perfect its jibes in the lagoon, begin the jumps and work its first waves in front of the centre.
From August till November
Advised level: expert. To know how to make: the water start, a good regularity in the jibe and the practice of the windsurfing in the strong wind.
The wind becomes now very strong, 95 % forces 6.
In summary, wind of 30 knots and more, roam of 1m in 2m ( big tides), outside temperature of 28 °-30 ° and water in 27 °!! The spot is completed for Riders wishing to evolve technically in wave and freestyle.
From December till January
The wind is always present but lower in intensity: 75 % of more strength 5. A beautiful swell settles down thanks to the big coefficients of tide. It is thus the period of the waveriding and the surfing. A small advice to have the best conditions, it is necessary to arrive 5 days before the full moon!
Advised level: expert and perfection.
Namely: the water start is recommended because the stretch of water is more shaken in front of the centre. Riders in herb can evolve in the lagoon in low tide and so navigate in 70 cms of water safely.
